 50m OUTDOOR POOL

The 50m Pool is a seasonal pool ideal for those lap swimmers and leisure swimmers alike, wanting to enjoy the summer season. Situated beside a shaded grandstand and surrounding grassed areas, it's a great spot for a picnic or just to enjoy the weather.

• TEMP:  The main pool is currently heated to a temperature setting of 26 degrees.
• LANES:  The pool is 8 lanes wide.
• DEPTH:  The pool depth ranges from 1.2m at the shallow end to 2m at the deeper end.
• OPENING PERIOD: This is an outdoor seasonal pool, opening the first weekend in October and closing the last weekend of March.
• WHEELCHAIR ACCESS: Access via hydraulic chair lift.

While we will always reserve a number of lanes for general lap swimming, it is worth noting that some times of the day are busier than others.  To check how busy the pool is (and therefore how many lanes have been set aside for lap swimming only), check out our lane availability page HERE.
